誠に有り難うございます!

yes, the race was absolutely full of drama!! it couldn’t have been more dramatic, with all those twist and turns. just imagine – Massa from Pole to last at one point. Kimi from 3rd till 13th at one pt… the Iceman caught up to 5th eventually, but crashed out with 3 more laps to go. *my heart sank along with it* it was a disastrous night for the Ferrari, really. it’s amazing how a frustrated Alonso went from 15th (totally unlucky yesterday during qualifying with his engine stalling), to first today. their fates changed the moment Renault’s Piquet crashed and the safety car came out – which led me to think this is all a CONSPIRACY (although a bit far fetched but i’m just gonna be an absolute bitch)!!! i witnessed first hand for the first time, how the safety car and the rules of the game can be so thoroughly unfair. Massa and Kimi were robbed. period. Piquet, i hate you.
anyway, Ig, Elaine, myself and Kenji, left feeling quite upset. i was very disappointed with the results, altho i know that such a drama filled race (Massa actually raced off from pit stop with the fuel pump still engaged knocking down one of the pit crew members but he’s safe – not sure why he was given the green light) with fortunes reversing, Fernando Alonso getting his first win of the season, Nico Rosberg with his career best, is ultimately great for Singapore.

and already, accolades are pouring in all round from the international media. Singapore looked stunning, wiith many describing the circuit as the city of Singapore donning a stunning diamond necklace. our top-notch efficiency (quality work in very limited time) gets praised once again. how about this? — Bernie Ecclestone, when asked if the Singapore GP could be the crowning jewel of F1 in the near future replied “why not? it more or less already is!”. whoa. those are words that came out of one tough man to please, and who just recently poo-pooed all over Sepang’s circuit.
the sport has gained alot of new fans. =) and i’m sure Singapore did too. i’m so proud of you Singapore. was glad to be part of the historic event.
E, Ig, Ig’s daddy, Kenji, and to the folks from all over the world, thanks for a wonderful experience. let’s do this again next year, BUT in the Paddock Club! Hahaha.
Piquet – I HATE YOU.
so i bought the tickets donkey years ago on the day it was released, and then was quite bo chap until like now!!! it just hit me that the event starts tmrw! to illustrate how bo chap i have been:
1. walked past a frenzied crowd wanting a piece of Lewis Hamilton in the Hugo Boss Shop and didn’t bother even peeping in. but if it was Takumi Sato or Kimi, it would have been a different story lah! hahaha.
2. forgot where my tickets were! omg.
anyway, hunted for them a bit and found them chucked next to my printer. LOL!! so i opened the box and wow, pretty nice those tickets!! come with lanyards! one ticket to hang around the neck for each day!!
we’re hitting the Grand Stand Turn 3, where the bendy bit is and all cars will have to slow down. maybe it’ll be slow enough for me to send a wink to Kimi. HAHAHAHA. anyway, the Ice Man was here, and true to his sub-zero name, he only smiled at two lil kids who presented him something on stage. throughout the event he was straight faced, quiet. and when he was introduced, didn’t even smile. he just raised his arms. and when asked questions, he mumbled his way thru. now that’s a true celeb!!
he’s a distant 4th now in ranking. =( but will be rooting for him. i’ll also be rooting for Hamilton to loose. MUAHAHAHAH.
will be fun fun fun!!!
HH, i’m so sorry you can’t be here for the historic event. you’ll be sorely missed. i’ll be thinking of you at the race and sending vibes from the race to you.

先週の金曜日の写真でございます!some shots from last week’s Giorgio Armani party. so much shampoo to drink. WAH!!! the finger foods + chips were excellent. next time my shop got launch party i will cater from Hilton’s kitchen!
had two invitations on the same night, but we made sure we had our fill before heading to TopShop’s new shop launch, which turned out to be rather fun! and oh, i met the prettiest girl at the Sony counter! her nice demeanor was the icing on the cakey. the worst ones are those who love themselves too much. but not her!
looking forward to my haircut tmrw. Hector was outta action for so long (due to his unfortunate accident which dislocated his elbow) my hair now like grass! 大風吹。。。把頭搖一搖。。。

need.to.cut.down.on.champagne.
that means skipping tmrw’s invitation to AQUA’s launch. it’s a new open air, container bar which is kinda cool. they’re serving free-flow champagne for the ladies, and beer for guys. ew. maybe i shd turn up in a o-skirto. btw, who’s gonna start an open air container coffee kiosk?
speaking of bars, anyone been to the local Bed Supperclub yet? any good? reading the reviews, the food seemed rather ok!
and whilst we’re on the topic of food (see how one drifts from topic to topic?), there’s a Kohi Ten (コーヒー店)that serves Japanese gourmet coffee and food at the newly relaunched Cuppage Terrace. gonna check that out. also, House at Dempsey has this new restaurant (can’t recall name) that serves wacky fusion dishes by two award winning imported chefs (can’t recall names nor countries of origin). each dish comes with a pairing cocktail. er… okay, think i need to skip that one too.
oooh, early morning storm! nice.

oh look! my idol Emily has ventured into porn! you wish! okay not really hardcore porn. but softcore teasy peepsy stuff. she explained in a follow up video to her “i’m an idol” video (personally i think she’s tripped a lil in that one) – probably to sooth the nerves of her legion of fans all crying “SELL OUT SELL OUT!!” – that this was a precursor to her launching her music career. hmm, not sure how that’s gonna work. but hey, if Ayumi can do it, why not AppleMilk?
i apologise for stuffing blatant visuals in your face to a good portion of my readers (especially the asexual ones, but then again, if you are, then these shd have no effect on you. haha). personally, skimpy women make my eyes bleed. but it’s fun (and good for the soul) living outside the comfort zone once in a while.
embrace people. embrace differences. embrace.
p/s: guys, you can buy Emily’s DVD on Amazon. go on, you know you want to!

日本語の宿題がたくさんある!there’s so much homework this term. ack!! took me three hours to finish 2.5 sheets earlier. not easy. thankfully i finished the other 3.5 sheets earlier in the week.
WA LAU EH – BIG MIDNIGHT STORM!! i’m gonna go watch the rain pelt down. 失礼します!

Hearty congratulations to Joyce and Mindee!! – their lifestyle/furnishing/gift shop Trolley officially opened this past weekend. apart from the killer bee hoon, chicken drumlets and VINO (!!), there was also the killer afternoon sun which almost reduced Kenji to a puddle of perspiration! the atmosphere was so merry, and the shop chockful of yummy items! you guys must pop by the lovely shop (it’s along Amoy Street, directly opposite Far East Square, in Shenton Way) for great gift ideas (things you won’t find in any other shops). shop contents are fun to explore and usually more than meets the eye. i guarantee you’ll be smiling when you pick up some of the items!
i was so psyched when i first set foot into the shop – unfortunately we headed off for dinner soon after, so i went back the very next day for a thorough shopping spree. the Flower Power fan featured in the Arena spread – that i got from Trolley! the fan comes in several great colours, but i snatched the silver one which Mindee intended to keep for herself (it wasn’t displayed but Mindee took it out from the store, and the rest is history!).
thanks for having us, Min and Joyce! all the best with the shop. 我們大家一起加油!i’ll keep a lookout for interesting stuff for Trolley to carry.

i was filling Mr TT2 up at the petrol kiosk last night and saw that the latest issue of Arena magazine was out. needless to say i was excited cos our pad is featured under the Interior Motives column this month. turned out very well (thanks Sherli, Charmaine!) but what got me tickled pink was reading many of the things which i couldn’t remember i said during the interview! i burst out laughing at the last sentence!!!
i’m going to grab a bunch of copies tmrw so i can save them for potential buyers/tenants when we’re selling/renting out the place in a few years’ time after we move onto our 2nd nest. and oh, one copy for Ruohong, my cleaner – cos she keeps the place spick and span week after week!
*incidentally, another Daniel’s on the cover!
