omg. wtf? that’s why i enjoy watching beauty pageants so much. they just make you cringe. i wonder if she can locate the USA on the map.
oh man, this is the seventh month right? got ghost lurking on my blog. i dunno who uploaded the May It Be track by Enya into my jukebox! who who who????

i’m glad to see a lil 4-pack now. the last 2 are the hardest to achieve. i need to shed more fats. but i’ve developed this love for ice-cream lately. how how?

this goes out to those who love sun tanning, and who can’t stop ridiculing how fair Kenji and myself are. you may look oh so bronzy and chio now but when your skin starts to look exactly like the Hermes bag you’re carrying, let’s see who’s having the last laugh. meanwhile, enjoy the sun!
added a jukebox to the right. so i can share some of the latest songs i’ve been spinning.
the first song is “You Are My Sunshine” by Stine J. which is a spiffy remake featured in the final season of QAF (i finally finished the series and i balled my eyes out saying goodbye to the characters i’ve known for the past 5 years). next is a remix of Mika’s “Grace Kelly” dedicated to my happy fabulous clubber neighbour. and finally, a number by local songstress Olivia Ong covering 小林明子’s “恋に落ちて – Fall in Love”.

this track is a duet version of the theme song taken off Royston Tan’s “881“. i make it a point to support local productions, no matter how cringeworthy they may be. but i thoroughly enjoyed 881. it’s a work with alotta heart. a quirky mix of getai, musical, gor gia hee (hokkien made-for-tv-opera), we’ve finally hit home run with a local production i’m proud to call our own.
i used to detest Mindee Ong for many reasons. i’ve changed my mind after watching her stellar performance in the movie. she’s made for the big screen. and i look forward to seeing more of her effortless screen presence. the other cast members lent sturdy performances, even May and Choi were enjoyable without having to try too hard. Yan Yan could have been more consistent, but when she’s good, she is good. the honour of the weakest link goes Mr Qi. i think the reason they gave him a rooster (which emoted substantially better) to carry around was so he could get away with looking blase most of the time. now i’d like to see what sort of chemistry he’d strike off with Joan Chen in his upcoming movie.
Kenji and I went visiting a pet shop earlier today, and we found the cutest Miniature Schnauzer! we nicknamed him “Pork Rib” cos he looked like one from the back with his funny shave! =) we took quite a few lovely shots of him. click here for the gallery.
