Akina fans must be reeling in visual orgasm now as we’re treated with a preview of the cover art (3 different covers, and a total of 5 releases, including one on the collectible cassette format, and another a compilation of the original enka pieces) for her upcoming revolutionary album of Enka covers. i still can’t get over the powerful imagery and how far she’s pushing this one. the last time i was this excited about a cover was Best 2 (same for you, Jamez yah?), and also D404Me, and Fushigi. this is Akina back at the top of her game, which i miss so much! 2 more weeks to release.

in the meantime, i’ll go listen to Seiko’s latest album Baby’s Breath. the plain water will prep me for Akina’s offering. haha. i’m so mean.
