The Emperor Workstation

i just creamed in my geek dungarees. here’s the ultimate workstation, the Emperor 200, costing a whopping $40,000 (dun laugh, it’s got HEPA air filtration system at the top hor! also comes with ambience lighting, THX surround sound system, and a built-in dildo! <--- joking oni!). apparently the Prince of Dubai has ordered 10 of these for his office. i also want!! i want 10 scorpions in my office!! actually, i dun have that much space in the home office. not even sure if i can fit one of these in!! HAHAHA.

NovelQuest will be launching their latest model, the Emperor 150, today – which is one-tenth of the cost of the Emperor 200, at a very reasonable >$5000! with a workstation like this, the only time you’ll be leaving it is to pee and crap. or maybe a toilet and bidet are options available?

Raf Simons Spring/Summer 09 Hi Cut Sneaker

this just got in at Club21 Men’s today, and i couldn’t resist but i did! and then they alerted me to the many many points i’ve accumulated so i couldn’t resist it again! i tried them on, and omg, they’re perfect!! hee hee. i also picked up a really dope/fun passport cover – something i’ve been searching for a long time. using points too! so basically i went shopping without spending a dime today (but yes, to get those points you have had to spend in the first place).

i also picked up something really “auntie” (not at Club21. altho there were some “auntie” pieces which i wondered if anyone would buy, and Joe said YES!! hahaha!), but i’m going to try it out first and see if it works, and if it does, i’m going to share it with all of you!

I've Got A Rolly!!

one of the toys i got off this Tokyo trip was a Rolly which was just launched in Japan. when Sony first released the teaser video and image of the object, there were many wild guesses what it was. turns out it’s a Dancing Audio Player! i didn’t think much of it until i saw one in action at the airport just before we boarded our flight. so cute i had to get one!!

i haven’t got the time to play with it, but check out this video!!

the “fun” part is you can write Dance Motion files for every different song, basically choreograph dance steps for it. and there’s a Rolly community where you share your Dance files and you can download them for your Rolly.

new toy

so, i placed my order for a Macbook Pro 15 incher 2.53GHz earlier this evening at the iShop 3rd Anniversary roadshow. Happy Birthday iShop! saw one in the flesh the other day and i was sold. running my fingers across its new aluminium casing is sheer geek heavens. they’ve run outta stock for the 2.53 cos the first batch came in measly numbers and all were snatched within the first day. new shipment shd be in next week.

which means my other still very new Macbook Pro will be given to someone else. any takers?

Lifeguard Static Remover

i’m sure it has happened to you before. you shop in a supermarket, load up your cart with goodies, pay at the cashier… push your cart to the elevator… press the button for elevator and ZZZZZAAPPP!!! you get static electrocuted!

other scenarios of electrocution may include: rubbing your friends’ elbows the wrong way and genna zapped! and in the worst case scenario… get zapped on the lips when you kiss!! dun laugh!! it happens!! you literally watch sparks fly if that happens! how’s that for sexual chemistry? LOL.

ok, actually i can think of at least ONE OTHER more painful situation. but i’ll leave you to ya imagination. some things are better left undescribed. lol.

anyhowzah, here’s a reminder for me to pick up one of these static removers. winter is just round the corner in Japan (meaning static charge will be at it’s highest) and they’re fast releasing these handy gadgets. i bought one from Tokyo Hands in Japan long ago cos i used to get zapped EVERY FUCKING TIME i opened my metallic cabinets in my TV12 office. so i actually dezapped everything before touching any metallic surfaces. it was seriously affecting my work! i was mousing around the cold furniture with trepidaton!

before arming myself with one of these static removers, i used to be super spastic being so afraid to open the cabinets, so i’d go near, retract, go near, and retract, and then try my luck eventually when i’ve mustered enough courage to go for it, and…

ZZZZAPPPP!

and then i’ll go “FUCKING CH88BYE!”…

Tokyo Nest Hunt

so i’ve started my search for accommodation for when i unplug to Tokyo next year. i have several options accomodation wise.

i’ve actually tried looking at the dorms recommended by the school AND imagining myself living in those quarters. i mean, that’s what student life is all about right? a simple bed. a study desk. a study lamp. good to go. try as i may, i think i cannot make it leh. those beds look like they have bed bugs! kowaii!

the other idea is to rent a service aparto. love the aparto at Shinjuku Oakwood. actually, i love the gym more than anything else. and the sky lounge. i could burry myself in my books whole day there! got my Nespresso machine too. complete right?

the other plan was for me and Shaz to bunk together so instead of getting two separate units, we get a bigger and nicer unit with the same budget or less. i’m going to get a celebrity housemate! WOW. lol.

so i’ve been looking around since last month, cos October isn’t that far away… and Shaz’s in Lyon now and can’t do the legwork. haven’t seen anything exciting until last night.

IPSE has properties peppered around Tokyo area. the most gorgeous one i’ve seen so far (haven’t finished checking out the rest) is the one in Shibuya. *faintz* it’s a mere 4-min walk away from Shibuya Eki on Yamanote Line. oooh, right smack in the centre of fashion haven! ME LIKEY!!

it’s also rather reasonable, compared to the service aparto rates. of course these units would be bare and i’ll have to stuff it with furniture and furnishings. but hey, it means i can finally sweep all the nice stuff from Franc Franc and Plus Minus Zero for a good reason. hee hee.
